Remember your first internship, feeling like the bottom of the career ladder was your permanent home? That was Janet at the front desk.While most interns count days, she counted opportunities.

Within 4 months, she went from intern to admin assistant, then climbed her way up to becoming an Executive Assistant to the Director! And she’s not done yet - now she’s adding tech skills to her arsenal through ALX.

Why tech? Growing up, she thought tech was a ‘boys only’ club (sounds familiar, right?). But watching her female friends crush it in tech made her think, “Why not me?”

So, a little while back, ChatGPT had a weird quirk where it couldn’t write the name David Mayer…well, now it can.

But people noticed other names that ChatGPT couldn’t spell out as well and have being going ham with the conspiracy theories- aliases for criminals in the US no fly list, bugs, developers wanting to protect their names etc

Imagine doing a diploma, going directly to finishi

Imagine doing a diploma, going directly to finishing your “traditional” degree, and then stepping into the job market only to hear: “Tech this, tech that, AI something, digital whatever!”

Armed with a communication degree and big dreams, she watched tech transform everything around her. But instead of letting it intimidate her, she decided to embrace it by supplementing that with the ALX Virtual Assistant program.
