Building Your Professional Foundations

The Professional Foundations programme is a no-cost offering by ALX that prepares learners for their professional life and career. Over 8 weeks, learners undergo professional development training that starts with self awareness, moves into teamwork and entrepreneurship, and ends with learners developing their own personal career trajectory and portfolio. A big focus in this programme is the development of 8 key meta-skills that learners can carry with them throughout their personal and professional lives.

Importantly, Professional Foundations is a prerequisite programme that learners are required to take before they can start their Tech Lite specialisation. This is to ensure learners are equipped with the proper professional skills to thrive both in their learning and in their future career.
